Fun at The Villages!
Have you ever been to The Villages in Florida? If not, you're in for a real treat. The Villages bills itself as "Florida's Friendliest Hometown". It is a huge retirement community of (very) active seniors. I live just about 30 miles west of The Villages and go there often to shop or dine in one of the many fine restaurants. When guests come to visit us, we like to take them there to enjoy the music and dancing that is held at Brownwood Paddock Square 365 days a year!
This past week, I held a 3 day abstract painting workshop at The Villages, organized by Village Art Workshops. We had a great turnout with 18 talented artists. I am always so pleased when everyone goes home on the last day with 3+ finished paintings, an arsenal of new techniques and ideas and a big smile on their faces!
I don't have any group workshops scheduled in the near future, but if you'd like to spend 3 fun days of painting with me at my Private Abstract Painting Workshop, please contact me to set up a date. Everything is provided, even lunch and a glass of wine, just bring your enthusiasm!
