This painting was a pleasure to do! Lots of warm weather, hot even, started to fall upon us here in Florida. (Sorry northerners - you've had a terribly long, miserable winter.) Hopefully this brings a little sunshine and warmth to your day. I'm SO enjoying getting back into my painting. High key - color mixing was a dream - and the finishing highlights, oh so tempting to put in long before the painting is finished, but important to wait until the end because if overdone, the painting can get ruined.
