The Regal Walnut Moth has the most stunning caterpillar called the Hickory Horned Devil. The caterpillar can be as long as 8 inches and comes in different colors: a brown version and a green version. It pupates underground by burrowing into the dirt. The host plant is the Black Walnut Tree. I was able to raise these moths when I lived in New Jersey. They were super COOL! This listing is for an original watercolor. It is on Fabriano 300lb watercolor paper.
