This is a Woodboring Beetle. I am fascinated with iridescence and decided to to the underside of the beetle. The underside was much more interesting with lots of nooks and crannies of dazzling color. I also decided to do him super big....because he deserved it! This listing is for an original watercolor. It is on Fabriano 300lb watercolor paper.
