 Softly swaying, this lone palm caught my attention. Have I ever walked down this pathway  before? The sand is so soft and deep.  It appears I'm the first to travel this path in a while,  there are no prints  before mine. Imagine a stroll along the coarse black sand beach of Panalu'u Bay, Hawaii.  Green sea turtles basking in the sun are frequent visitors here.  Endeared and protected by the locals, legend is Kauila protects all children.  In her honor there is an engraving depicting Kauila carrying a sleeping child on her back.  What a magical place.
