Ocean Being, Acrylics & Pastel on paper, 19 in. x 16 in.
Looking at the ocean so much has been an inspiration for the last few years. I own a large conch shell that I can use for a still life subject. While painting it from life, I added colors that suggest moving water. Expressing the essence of the shell and the ocean became my focus. Acrylics and pastels make a nice combination for a mixed media piece of art. Sharon Guy Art.
