THE QUEEN, 5X7, OIL SOLD

I spend a lot of time in my favorite framer's shop.  Being a very casual store, there are two cats that live in the shop during the week.

They are equally beautiful, but on the day I had my camera along, only one was willing to pose.  I don't know what her/his name is, but, I think she/he looks very "queenly" in her/his pose, thus the name.

Bon jour!

Wally The White Cat IV

Some of my weekdays are very broken up between classes. I am learning that it's worth it to sit down and paint even if it's only for 40 minutes, which is  how long this little painting took! Although I did go pack the next day and add a few more strokes.

White Cat Wally, 5" x 7", oil on panel

Just finished another semester and turned in grades! Officially on break and planning on being very productive by painting most everyday.
This is hopefully the first of many posts to come! Stay tuned!
