The dunes along the edge of the Atlantic Ocean surrounding Kiawah Island are a good source of interesting scenes. I was there in the winter when the sky was cloudy but the sun came out for a short time when I was looking at this view of East Beach. Kiawah Island is a great place to visit during the off-season when it is fairly quiet. The streets are named after birds, and the landscaping is perfect. Strict zoning laws create a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. In December, the shops are all decorated tastefully with lights and wreathes, and it is fun a fun place to do Christmas shopping. I hope to visit again sometime. Sharon Guy Art
