Having set up my easel in a field in the early morning, I painted the light and shadows of the trees and flowers. It's always so beautiful to see how the sunlight can make a dramatic composition with the resulting shadows.

Sitting in a field in a beautiful park in the early morning, sunlight got my attention because of the shadows of the
trees and blooming flowers. Light changes fast so it's a challenge to capture it. My focus was on my easel, paints and the beginning of the day. 8x10" oil on canvas.
