Nancy's Marsh Sunset, 12x6" SOLD

I am happy to do commissions as I enjoy the challenge of painting from another's viewpoint.

SOLD
In this case, a very nice woman sent me her husband's wonderful image of a sunset over the marsh to work from.  We went for a non-traditional composition to compliment both the image and her other artwork.

She gave me permission to paint in any style and I chose to work with a palette knife.  Both of us were pleased with the results.

Dunes Crossover, a Plein Air Beach Oil Painting by Judy Batterson

"Dunes Crossover"A lovely day at Smyrna Dunes Park beckoned me to take my plein air pochade box there. I set up my easel and paint box and enjoyed capturing the dunes with the walkway over the dunes. Sand, sea oats and dune plants made the scene very textural. With the ocean beyond the dunes, the ocean breeze picked up, blowing the clouds in fast moving formations and moving the sailboats across the water. 5"H x 7"W Price: $ 75.00

Hunkered Down, 6x8" Oil Original by Carol Schiff

Purchase here
96
In Florida, we when we say "hunkered down" we are usually referring to a hurricane experience.  Pelicans often pose in this manner, which to me is "hunkered down".  I think in reality, he is sleeping or resting up for his next meal.  Check out my site at www.CarolSchiffStudio.Etsy.com for more Florida paintings.

Daily Painting 1448 Scheffleras in Bloom

These are growing in the back yard, they are also know as umbrella plants.  They are usually seen as a tiny plant in a dish garden. I painted this from life awhile ago, 2003 I think.  There were some things I didn't care for in the painting so I tweaked it a bit and here it is again.  Its 11 x 14 inches, $300.
