I like wildlife art that is not overly detailed. When painting an animal or bird, I sometimes use a photograph as a reference, but I don't want the painting to look like I merely copied a photo. Sometimes I use bright colors in my animal paintings, but here, I kept the colors subdued and natural. Sharon Guy Art
