I just returned to Florida from New York.
I was humbled and thrilled to be honored this April 2012.

THIS IS THE INVITATION!

Hudson Valley Map Release Party

Albany Institute of History & Art Key Cultural Center

Albany mapmaker Bill Newman will introduce the first edition of The World's Most Complete Boating Guide to New York State's Upper & Mid-Hudson River Estuary: Peekskill to Troy, New York, a new recreational boating guide to the Hudson, illustrated with original art from five Hudson Valley "en plein" artists.

The reception at the Albany Institute of History and Art will honor Hudson River Valley fine artist Jani Lori who donated her original oil painting images to illustrate this beautifully produced map. The first map off the press run will be framed and donated to the Albany Institute of History & Art. Additionally, 100 copies of the folded map will be released to the public at the reception for a donation to the Institute.
