This
scene of maternal love was on a farm in Pennsylvania. Mama cow actually
had an ear outlined with huge burrs, but I didn't care to add that to
the painting.

The animals are taking over my studio. I'm working on a series of dog paintings in acrylics. This Standard Poodle looks very serious, in spite of the pink and yellow colors.

This is a portrait of my dog, Leo. He looked up from his nap while I took his photo. I've been sketching and taking pictures of my two dogs. His eyes are remarkable.
