Anyone know what these are? Besides my favorite flower? They are the most luscious, velvety soft, heavenly fragranced (probably not a word) blossom in all the world.... ahhh, the herbaceous peony plant. Which I had plenty of in my tiny little townhouse garden when I lived in Yardley, PA. They are simply divine! I actually have a peony plant here in Florida, but it remains to be seen how well it might do down here. I'm told this species should do OK, so I'm looking forward to next spring. And I think the joy that these blooms give me is evident in the painting. I've had so many requests from folks about workshops and demo videos. It's on my laundry list of things to do, just not sure where it ranks this week. First I am finishing up my inaugural email newsletter which, by the way, will be ready for subscribers to sign up for very soon. I'm terribly behind the times with all of this. But if you bare with me - you won't be sorry. So stay keenly tuned!
