Nature Fine Art Painting, Insect "Atlas Moth" The Art of Nature, Fine Art by Mindy Lighthipe



The Atlas Moth,  Attacus atlas is considered to be the largest moths in the world in terms of total wing surface area. Their wingspans are also amongst the largest, from 10-12 inches. Females are appreciably larger and heavier. The triangular marking on each wing is transparent.
